The rope cap is a summer classic. With origins in the maritime world, the braided cord above the brim started as a working detail on 19th-century sailors' caps, made to keep the hat on in a stiff wind. We’ve recreated this timeless cap with a Vermont twist. Hand-sewn felt letters give the VT. a raised, three-dimensional finish.
